At St Thomas More RC College, the pupils education is viewed as a partnership between home and school. Strong links with parents are regarded as essential. St Thomas More APPT is a thriving organisation which exists to enable parents, teachers and pupils to support the school in a practical way by fund-raising for long-term projects which meet the school's needs. The APPT also helps foster effective parent-teacher communication through a varied programme of social events and meetings. The APPT meets about eight times a year. Meetings are friendly and informal. Information about APPT activities and meetings is given through school newsletters and the STM News page on this Web Site. All parents/guardians of our pupils are automatically members of the APPT and participation in the work of the association is warmly valued and encouraged.
