Curriculum
KeyStage 3: At Key stage 3 students study ICT 3 hours per fortnight. The curriculum aims to provide students with a number of opportunities to develop, practise and utilise IT skills to create a number of products that are suitable for a specific audience and purpose. From September 2013 we have now included computing and gaming units to enrich the learning of our students

KeyStage 4:
Year 11 – OCR Level 2 - National Certificate
Curriculum Time – varies between 2 – 6 hours per fortnight depending on set.
Students currently study the OCR Nationals Level 2 in IT as a compulsory subject. The qualification is made up of various units including: IT for Business, Spreadsheets, Computer Graphics, Multi-Media, Video, Sound, and Animation design.
Year 10 – OCR GCSE ICT
OCR GCSE IT is now offered as an optional subject at KS4. The course has proved a popular choice for students. Students complete 2 controlled assessments (60%) of the final grade and 2 exams in Year 11 (40%) of the course.
Homelearning
Students are issued homelearning once a week based on the college homelearning timetable. Students complete a learning blog to enable them to reflect on their learning in lessons
