GIFT Chaplaincy Commissioning
The next generation of St Thomas More GIFT Chaplains went to Salford Cathedral to be commissioned into their official role for our college. The day involved students creating an action plan, learning the importance of chaplaincy and understanding the origins of the team. Finally, the students attended a special service to welcome them into their new role.
Being a GIFT Chaplaincy Team member is an important role and our GIFT team assists with the delivery and development of the prayer life of the college by supporting assemblies, class prayer times and prayer groups.
The GIFT students at St Thomas More RC College are very proud of their official and vital role in our Catholic community.
