NCS (National Citizen Serice) is the country’s fastest growing youth movement.
It’s a government-backed programme created to enrich, challenge and empower all young people/ The programme has 4 Phases and runs over the summer holidays:
Adventure A 5-day residential trip, with adrenaline-fuelled activities like rock climbing, canoeing, and archery, while making new friends along the way.
Discovery A taste of independent living at university halls, while learning essential life skills from local businesses and charities. Plus gain confidence in public speaking, communication skills and budgeting. It all looks great on your CV.
Action It’s time to make your mark. With your team, devise a social action project on an issue that you feel passionate about.
Celebration It’s time to celebrate your NCS experience, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Our graduates have plenty of opportunities to keep getting involved and making a difference!
