St Thomas More RC College sets new Operation
Christmas Child Record!
All the students at St Thomas
More RC College showed their generosity and community spirit by supporting The Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Appeal this
term. Operation Christmas Child is a charity
that aims to ensure that children all over the world receive a small Christmas
gift that can have a huge impact on a young person’s life. The charity follows
the example of Christ by helping those in need and by giving people hope at
Christmas.
This year, the college showcased
its benevolent spirit by breaking its own ‘shoebox appeal’ record. The students
collected 214 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and raised £360.68, which is
an outstanding achievement. Well done!

Boy, Joe Plumbley, present The Samaritan’s Purse with a £360.68 cheque and 214
