Catholic Social Teaching Principles within the subject

Safeguarding in the Catholic Church is deeply rooted in Catholic Social Teaching (CST) principles like the inherent dignity of every human person, the common good, and preferential option for the vulnerable.

The school is committed to keeping students safe through an open culture where safeguarding is everyone's responsibility to protect children and keep them safe as a core part of the Church's mission.
The Safeguarding Curriculum encompasses all the aspects of the Catholic Social Teaching Principles by teaching students their special value and worth and how they can keep themselves and others safe, happy and secure.
